Sign up for October Workshops!
As we all get into the groove of school, Spring Forward is excited to launch our online “after school” climate workshops this October for Elementary and Middle Schoolers. Each workshop includes instruction about a specific climate topic and a related hands-on learning experience. Workshops will cover topics including: an introduction to climate change, sea level rise, climate justice, fast fashion, and an overview of climate change. There will be two coinciding sessions, with workshops happening every Tuesday and Thursday for 3 weeks AND every Saturday for 6 weeks. You can mix and match dates. Visit our website for more information!
Workshop For Adults
Although we are primarily focused on youth-to-youth education, it is also important for adults to understand climate legislation, such as the Green New Deal, and their effects. Spring Forward is considering creating a workshop about systemic change or a written overview for adults. Look out for more information coming soon!
Exciting Events with Our Partners
Besides our October activity workshops, Spring Forward is also excited to partner with organizations such as Girl Scouts MA and Sustain Our Abilities this October. We will be teaching an online Health + Climate Lesson at Sustain Our Abilities’ Day for Tomorrow on October 4, and a Government + Climate Lesson for MA Girl Scouts on October 26.
